He knows I'd say anything he wants to hear
bright and clear calls the voice of lovers.
He knows I'd do anything he wants me to

like ruby rain I wash away the pain.

3.7 Proper Introductions

Tony and Beryl were completely oblivious to the world around them and very busy with each oter. They both knew this is probably their last time together and they wanted to make the most of it.

But the world didn't care about their needs and wishes at all, and sent its minions to bother them...

Babs:
"Beryl? Beryl? Oh, there you are!"
Picture

Babs:
"This is really awkward. Sorry to interrupt... but can I have a minute of your time, please?"
Picture

The two of them reluctantly stepped away from each other. Beryl kept her eyes fixed at Tony.

Beryl: "What is it, mom?"
Babs: "The auction is about to start. I thought we should be there, since our pictures are going to be bidden at too.
But first you should probably introduce me to this handsome gentleman with whom you were so... involved a moment ago? He looks kind of familiar."
Picture

Beryl: "Mother, this is Tony Corleonesi, Christian's father. Tony, meet my mother, Babs L'Amour-Heffner."
Babs: "Oh! So you are the infamous man who saved my son and also made a single mother out of my daughter?"
Picture

Tony: "That's me, madam. The one and only."
Picture

Tony: "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Heffner."
Babs: "Beryl? Your... man is kissing my hand!"
Beryl: "So he is, mom!"
Picture

Babs: "I had no idea that men still do that these days."
Picture

Tony:
"The true gentlemen still do, madam."
Picture

Babs: "I... I don't know what to say..."
Beryl: "Yeah, it happens to me a lot, whenever he's around."
Picture

Babs: "I suppose we can discuss family matters later. Now we should return to the main hall."

Picture

Tony: "After you, ladies."
Babs: "Oh. Mr. Corleonesi,  this house is too big and confusing, lead the way, if you would, please."
Tony: "As you wish. And you can call me Tony, madam."
Picture

Following Tony through the maze of the hallways, Babs and Beryl used this opportunity to quietly talk about the man in front of them.

Babs: "You know, Beryl, I was often wondering how you could have been so reckless and let the man take an advantage of you. Now when I have finaly met him, I understand completely. He's one of those hard to resist men."
Beryl: "Yeah..."
Babs: "I saw you two dancing together. He's a great dancer and I assume he's a good kisser too. Is he equally good in...?
Beryl: "MOM! I'm so not answering that question!"
Babs: "Have I told you, I always had a thing for dark-haired man? When you father and I were at your age, every night we..."
Beryl: "Mom, please. Children should never hear about their parents' woohoo. It can cause them a severe trauma, you know. If you ever want to have more grandchildren, don't tell me."
Babs: "Are you sure? I could give you a couple of hints on how to keep your man... interested."
Beryl: "Just. Don't."
Babs: "Mmmm. Look what a nice butt this Tony of yours has. It's almost as if it was calling to you: Grab me now!"
Beryl: *silent scream*
