Liebster Award 2017
I was nominated by orangeplumbob, the author of my favourite story Second Chances. Thank you!
This award comes with the following rules:
- say thank you to the person who nominated you
- answer 11 questions the person asked you
- nominate people (let them know via message or comment)
- ask them your own 11 questions
1. What brought you to writing simlit? And how long have you been writing simlit?
Long time ago I read some TS2 stories and when I purchased TS4 I wanted to read sim stories again. I went to the forums and found The Bloomer Legacy there. And that was it. I wanted to give it a try as well. The Heffner Legacy is my first simlit ever. It is going to be two years in September since I started writing it.
2. What’s your favorite way to de-stress during the evening?
Reading a book or simlit, coloring or watching a favourite show.
3. What stereotype in movies/television/video games annoys you the most? Why?
I'm mostly annoyed by books/tv (don't mind it in games too much) when I'm presented a character that is evil or good only because the authors said so. I'm not a big fan of the whole good/evil black and white concept. I love shades of grey (no, I'm not referring to that (in)famous book now).
4. Who or what is your muse? Why?
My muse is usually my main male character. He sparks my imagination, I think of ways how to make his life miserable, find love for him or make my main female character fall in love with him, then I make both their lives miserable and that's pretty much all. Why? Because I like dreaming about a sexy hot knight in shining armor, simple as that.
5. What fandoms are you currently in, if any? Who are your ships in those fandoms? (they can also be simlit fandoms – Chuck knows we have plenty!)
I used to be a member of Star Wars fandom. I also consider myself a lifetime Star Trek fan. There weren't many females in Star Wars, I shipped Leia and Han, of course. In Star Trek I had too many favourite ships to remember.
My last big ship was from the Person of Interest show. I shipped John Reese and Dr.Campbell so hard, because they were giving me Tony & Kellie vibe. Needless to say that lots of immature squealing was usually to be heard out of my room anytime those two characters met, which was too rare for my liking.

6. Most inspiring/insightful thing you’ve ever read/heard?
My fellow simmers surprised me with their insight many times. There's always something new to learn. I watched Brandon's Sanderson courses of writing on YouTube and learned some useful stuff. I love the way he describes how making promises to the readers work.
7. How long have you been playing the Sims?
I played the original game, TS2, skipped TS3 because I didn't like the graphics and also played other games.
8. Other than Sims, do you play other video games? Which ones?
Used to play Word of Warcraft a lot. I'm glad I managed to escape that Sarlacc's pit already. I love Dragon Age and Mass Effect Series. From time to time I enjoy playing Diablo III with friends. But I haven't been intensively playing anything else than Sims for over a year.
9. What is your favourite book that you go back to re-read over and over again?
I used to re-read books by my favourite Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren as a child (Pippi Longstockings and Six Bullerby Children). I loved those two books so much. As a teenager I often re-read books by Czech author Jaroslav Foglar. Those books were amazing, so gripping and often made into tv series and movies in my country, but were never tranlasted into English which is a shame I thing. To tell the truth, I even considered retelling his most famous trilogy as a simlit, which could be fun!
The older I am the less re-reading I do, because I feel there's too little of time to waste it on re-reading when there are so many wonderful stories I haven't read yet.
10. What is your favourite Sims mod or custom content.
Teleporter and Poseplayer are mods I cannot live without. Next would be No Mosaic Mod, because I'm a big girl. :) And poses, poses, poses. Princess Paranoia and Joanne Bernice are my top favourite pose creators. I also collect all dance poses. Pictures of dancing sims make my heart melt.
11. And lastly, and this is important…. Pepsi or Coke?
To be honest I don't drink any of those if I have another option which I usually have, because thankfully drinking water is always available.
Thanks to SIMSLOVER163 for nominating me for this award.

My blog has been nominated for this award by my fellow SimLit writers at the S4 forums. The least I can do in return is to link to their own amazing stories and nominate my favourite ten writers.
Thank you, Sterretjee, ThePlumbob, Roseinblack, Frantika, Kamio and all of you who gave me your vote!
Little bit about me. My real name is Jana. I live in Czech republic in a town not far from our capital Prague (at the picture below you can see the historical part of our town).
I have a budgie and that's also the reason why I love all birds so much. Once you have one of these creatures at home, you have to love them all.
My favourite season is spring and not just because my birthday is in spring. I love when the nature is waking after the winter. Everything is in bloom, the air smells sweet. There's a street near where I live and it's all lined with Japanese cherries. It's so beautiful when you pass through it like under a pink canopy. And when the petals fall away the ground is all covered with them like a pink carpet.

As for my spirit animal, I took a speacial quiz to learn what my animal was. It turns out it is a turtle. I think it suits me pretty well. I don't like to hurry anywhere and I muse about things a lot.
My dream sims expansion would be all about relationships. I seriously need slow dancing in the game and more romantic and friendly and even mean interactions and animations for my story telling.
When I'm not playing the sims or other games I love to read. My room is full of books and that's how I like it.
My dream job would be owning a really cool bookstore.
Favourite food: Probably pizza.
Favourite book: it often changes. At the moment it's Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series.
Favourite superhero: Since the Netflix Daredevil series aired I'm totally Daredevil fan.
