CHAPTER 4
Soon after the wedding and my son's birth I celebrated my adult birthday. We invited my good friends over and had lots of fun together.
The weather was nice that day and we decided to take the party outside and test our new card table.
Alice was playing like a champ. She beat us all several times.
Although playing cards with Elisa turned out to be an experience of dramatic moments and twists as well. You can never know what she'll come up with, what new rules she invents.
Elisa: Handful of stars! Handful of stars! They're coming from stars! Away with you! Discard the stars! Everybody discard the stars or they'll take you!
We did as she told us. Elisa definitely added an interesting random element to the game which made it much more fun.

Being older and having earned couple of promotions at work I decided to change my looks a bit to reflect that.
Meanwhile, Summer got pregnant again and we were looking forward to out new baby. Summer wished it would be a girl this time.
Amedeo's birthday was coming up fast and we had a new room built for him. We plan to enlarge it as soon as his brother or sister is born.
Amedeo aged up to a child, having us wonder where his brown eyes came from. Both Summer and I have blue eyes.
Amedeo wants to be a social butterfly and was born with the perfectionist trait. Hopefully it will make him do his homeworks thoroughly.
His most favourite toy is a robot he calls Clanky.

Soon my wife went into a labour again.
Being a doctor, I knew what to expect, of course, and didn't panic like other fathers do.

Welcome to the family, my son Alessandro.
At this point it's safe to say that the legacy had been secured. We didn't need more kids. However, my wife hasn't given up her dream to have a baby girl. I tried to convince her not to pursue it, we're both nearing the elder age and probably wouldn't see the girl grow up into an adult, but I couldn't bear to watch my wife being disappointed. So we tried again.
I almost finished my life's aspiration, but couldn't get my hands on the cowplant seed. Anytime I had a day off I went fishing. As strange as it might sound, I always learnt something new while fishing. About the fish, about myself or about fashion.
The other day for example I learnt that trash bags are in. This lady was parading with it along the river for hours.
Life's always remarkable. You just need to look around.
Summer: Honey, why did you leave the fish on the counter? You know I extra hate the smell, when I'm pregnant.
